I have used M&D Building and Construction for a new kitchen (large kitchen) and new main bathroom refurb here at Newcastle. The team always have arrived on time, nice new vans and parked well on our cul de sac rather than on my drive (!!!), very nice lads, smartly appropriately attired and friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble and obviously when my better half wanted to make some last minute changes, these were all carried out without any fuss. Whether it was the sales, installation or the project manager, each and everyone was pleasant to deal with. Cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Dav from M&D Building & Construction organised the completion of a gas safety check (CP12) on our our behalf. Communication was simple and Dav took control of the entire process.
On another property a number of jobs were quickly sorted – contacted Dav on Wednesday, issues were rectified on Friday of the same week. This included some roof repairs which the team proactively actioned, even though it was thought the issue was with a window leaking. Communication was maintained throughout the work, and completed with a competitive price.

Through M&D Builders and Construction, Dav organised an electrician to sort an EICR which was out of date for a Buy to Let property in Shildon. With no trouble or hidden costs, we got our certificate and all is running smoothly. Dav did all the organising and kept us updated, day or night. We’re delighted!

We were allocated M&D Building and Construction due to an insurance claim. I can honestly say Dav and his team have been absolutely amazing! Going above and beyond expectations! They kept us informed every step of the way and I would highly recommend their services.
The job itself, came in well over 100k due to the enormity of damage from a broken water tank in the loft. The job involved a full strip back of floors, walls and ceilings, new kitchen and bathroom, doors, plastering, painting etc, the full works!! Comparing the house to what it looked like previously to the finish product, what Dav and his team have done is truly fabulous and I can not thank them enough!!
Nothing has been a problem, from dropping and picking up keys and even tidying up the garden for my 78 year old mum – Dav has been so thoughtful and kind. I would highly recommend!!

M & D have been carried out 2 projects for us and I have nothing but praise for the team. Both projects were completed on time and in budget. Communication throughout was brilliant with photos and comments.on the progress. Any issues where highlighted and discussed. They were professional and courteous with the tenants. Couldn’t recommend them enough !!
